TarraCoata is committed to making its website and the TarraOne platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and to complying with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013 and with Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 level AA.
1. Conformance commitment
We target WCAG 2.2 level AA — a standard higher than the legal minimum — across the public website and the authenticated platform. Accessibility is treated as a requirement in design, code review and release, not as an afterthought.
Current status: substantially conformant. Some third-party embeds and legacy media may not yet meet every criterion; those items are tracked and remediated on a rolling basis.
2. Accessibility features
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and a "skip to content" link.
- Semantic HTML landmarks, correct heading hierarchy and descriptive page titles for screen-reader navigation.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
- A high-contrast mode available from the accessibility widget.
- Font scaling up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, plus a dedicated text-size control.
- A reduced-motion setting that pauses animation, 3D scenes and transitions; the system `prefers-reduced-motion` preference is honoured automatically.
- Route announcements for screen-reader users on client-side navigation.
- Forms with programmatically associated labels, clear error messages and error identification that does not rely on colour alone.
- Full right-to-left support for Hebrew, including correct bidirectional text handling.
- Responsive layouts that work at 320 CSS pixels wide and support both orientations.
3. Supported technologies
The site is tested with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, in combination with NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack. It relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ARIA; JavaScript must be enabled for interactive features.
4. Known limitations
- Interactive 3D scenes convey atmosphere rather than information; all essential content is available as text. They can be paused entirely from the accessibility widget.
- Some externally hosted media and third-party embeds may lack captions or full keyboard support. Alternatives are available on request.
- Documents supplied by third parties (for example partner PDFs) may not be fully tagged.
